Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of academic/administrative experience within Parul University.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Student Engagement & Development- Oversee student welfare programs and ensure their effective implementation.
- Organize social, and recreational activities for holistic student development.
- Act as a bridge between students and administration to address concerns proactively.
Wellbeing & Support Services
- Ensure smooth functioning of grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Coordinate with medical, hostel, and security services to ensure student safety and comfort.
Policy & Compliance
- Develop and implement policies related to student welfare, discipline, and conduct.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and university norms (anti-ragging, sensitization, etc.).
- Facilitate awareness programs on inclusivity, diversity, and responsible behavior.
Student Representation & Leadership
- Guide and support student clubs, committees, and student council activities.
- Encourage leadership and participation in extracurricular and co-curricular platforms.
- Foster a student-friendly ecosystem promoting innovation, creativity, and community engagement.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the Dean – Student Welfare and other Deans/Directors for cross-departmental initiatives.
- Submit regular reports, feedback, and improvement suggestions to the university leadership.
- Represent the student welfare department in internal and external forums as required.
