Applications are invited for the post of Project Technical Support-III to work on ICMR Funded Project on ‘’Immunodiagnostics for Lymphatic Filariasis’  
Title of the Project Evaluation of the diagnostic potential of recombinant filarial proteins & Development of Rapid Immuno-chromatographic concomitant antigen and antibody detection test for diagnosis of Lymphatic Filariasis

Duration of the Project 3 Years
Minimum Essential Qualification
  • Three Years Graduate in Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology + Three years’ Experience 
OR 
  • Post graduate in  Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology
Desired Qualification
  • Research Experience on molecular and Cell biology
  • Handling of analytical instruments like PCR, Chromatographic techniques
Maximum Age Limit in Years Not more than 35 years on the last date of the application
Preference
  • NET/GATE Qualified Candidates
  • The candidate having research project experience in Immunodiagnostics or R & D experience at In-vitro Diagnostics will be preferred.
Project Brief Wet Lab: Cloning and expression of Recombinant Filarial Antigen, Development of polyclonal Antibody, Diagnostic evaluation and development of lateral flow immuno-chromatographic (rapid) assay.  Dry Lab: Experimental Plan, Design and Optimization, Data Analysis Travel: Sample Collection from Hospital is the Integral part of Project work
Consolidated Remuneration
  • 28,000 per month + HRA (18%) for Research and Development Cell (RDC), Parul University, Vadodara
  • 28,000 per month + HRA (27%) for Society for Health and Biological Sciences Research, Pune
Nature of the post The post is on contractual basis upto maximum period of 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation every six months

Project Technical Support -I (Data Entry Operator, IT domain with experience)

Essential:
  • 10th + Diploma in Computer Application/IT/Computer Sciences with two Years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
  • A speed of not less than 8000 key depression per hour on computer.
  • Good Command on Gujarati, Hindi & English – Typing, Speaking, Reading & Writing
Desirable:
  • Experience in MS-office / data entry / statistical software
  • Experience in transcribing qualitative data and data entry of patient level database
Nature of Work:
  • Data entry of quantitative and qualitative data’s including transcripts (Gujarati/Hindi/ English) generated during interview and focused group discussions.

  • Three Years Graduate in Statistics / Biostatistics from recognized University / Institution with three years’ experience
OR
  • Master’s degree in Statistics / Biostatistics from recognized University / Institution
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of statistics related computer software like SPSS, R, EPI-INFO, SPISTATA, NVIVO & application packages like MS-Office.
  • Two years post M.Sc. with research experience particularly in mixed methods analysis.
Nature of Work:
  • The candidate is required to provide assistance in data analysis and statistical outputs using modern medical statistics tools for implementation of this project or any other work as per requirement.

Project Technical Support – III (Project Manager / assistant/ coordinator)
Research
Essential:
  • Three Years Graduate in Public Health / Public Health Nursing / social work / life sciences with three Years’ experience or PG in relevant subject / field.
  • Good Command on Gujarati, Hindi & English – Speaking, Reading & Writing
Desirable:
  • Experience in managing similar research projects.
Nature of Work:
  • Assist PI in project management.
  • Organize and monitor timely collection, compilation, and analysis of data.
  • Coordinate study activities but not limited to developing and testing study tools, organize meetings of key stakeholders, conducting in-depth interviews and focused group discussions and other data collection exercises.
  • Visit to urban / rural health facilities in the district of Vadodara.
  • Coordinate and work with district health authorities during the implementation of the project 
  • Any additional work assigned by the investigators.

  • Good communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi & English
Desirable:
  • Research experience (one year) in field of emergency care or Qualitative research experience in relevant field will be given priority.
  • Experience in working in projects /programs at State level.
  • Skills in planning and conducting research/survey related training programmes.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to urban and rural health facilities in the district of Vadodara for data collection.
  • Previous of evidence of undertaken Health related field-based data collection.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and conduct field-based survey.
Nature of Work:
  • Qualitative Data Collection
  • Monitoring the data collection, consent process, etc.
  • Conducting, transcribing and analyzing qualitative interviews
  • Work with project coordinator in monitoring all health facilities in the district in assessing the quality of emergency care
  • Meeting the stakeholders (district health administrators and health care providers) and explaining the study if needed

Project Research Scientist- II (Non-Medical)
Research
Essential:
  • First Class Post Graduate Degree in IT/CS/AI/ML or relevant fields, including the integrated PG degrees
  • For Computer Engineering/ IT/ CS – First class Graduate degree of 4 years with 3 years’ experience. (OR) Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG Degrees with PhD and three years’ experience, 
  • First class in M.Sc. IT/CS/AI/ML or relevant specialization with three years’ experience,
  • Good   communication   skills   in   Gujarati, Hindi & English
Desirable Technical Skills:
  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C++, or R, depending on the specific needs of the project.
  • AI/Machine Learning: Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and tools is essential for developing AI-powered applications. Familiarity with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is a plus.
  • Databases: Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Web Development: Knowledge of web development frameworks like Django, Flask, or Spring Boot for building web applications.
  • DevOps: Understanding of DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaison with different users and multiple organizations at State/National Level and of handling similar projects/portfolios.
Nature of work:
  • Oversees      the      research      and      development of Information and communication tools needed for the project.
  • Developing geolocation and navigation tools for ambulance dispatch and patient routing.
  • Developing AI-powered medical algorithms for triage, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations.
  • Real-time analytics dashboards for visualization and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Optimization algorithms for resource allocation (ambulances, medical staff, beds) based on real-time demand.
  • Telemedicine platforms, mobile apps
  • IoT platforms for interconnecting devices and collecting data streams.
  • Health information exchange (HIE) systems for seamlessly integrating data from various sources (hospitals, clinics, labs).
  • Any other tools and systems as per the demand of the project.

Project Research Scientist- III (Medical)
Research
Essential:
  • MBBS/BDS with  Post Graduate Degree
  • MBBS/BDS   with   PhD  from  a   recognized university or institute
  • MPH  with  PhD  in  Health  sciences  from  a recognized university
  • Good   communication   skills   in   Gujarati, Hindi & English
Desirable:
  • MD/MS/DNB in Emergency Medicine/Medicine/Community Medicine/Family Medicine/ Pediatrics/ Obstetrics and Gynecology/ from a recognized University for candidates with first-class relevant degree / Master of Public Health.
  • Trained in Public Health/ Research Methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to liaison with different and multiple organizations at State/National Level
Nature of work:
  • Oversees      the      research      and      handles communications with State and District officials, ICMR on a regular basis
  • Coordinates  the  formative  research,  outcome assessment, and implementation of the project
  • Analyzes the outcome of the research, risk assessment during the research and implementation of the solutions.
  • Training, guiding and supervising Project Staff in their day to day work
  • Conduct good literature search and synthesis, data management, data analysis, report writing
  • Any other related work assigned to them by the Investigators.
Salary  Rs.109740/-pm (Rs.93000/- + 16740 [18%HRA]) (Increment @5% on initial emoluments after completion of two years) Age limit  Upto 45 years
