Role Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Core PHP Web Developer to join our Digital Marketing team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Core PHP development, including backend architecture, API integration, database management, and performance optimization. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance web applications that power our digital marketing efforts. You should have a passion for clean code, best practices, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dynamic, high-performance web applications using Core PHP.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Design and implement secure, maintainable APIs and backend services.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug applications.
  • Maintain and improve existing web platforms and tools used by the marketing team.
  • Ensure application security, session management, and data protection best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BCA / MCA / B.Sc. IT/ M.Sc. IT/ B.Tech / M.Tech.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Core PHP development.
  • Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) in PHP.
  • Experience with MySQL, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integration.
  • Knowledge of MVC frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficient in debugging and performance tuning.
  • Version control experience with Git, Gitlab or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
 
Preferred (Nice to Have):
  • Experience in CMS (like WordPress or Joomla) or eCommerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and develop WordPress themes as per business requirements
  • Extensive use of ACF Pro for structured and scalable content
  • Work with Elementor / Elementor Pro and WPBakery
  • Customize existing plugins and develop custom plugins when needed
  • Write clean, maintainable core PHP code using WordPress best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs such as WhatsApp, SMS, Email, and other tools
